He's one of the best mechanics in the state (fifth in
the state on the 1987 ASC certification exam) who has kept my little 80
Datsun pickup running up and down I-5 like a champ. She's a businesswoman
extraordinaire who manages the family auto repair shop (Expert
Automotive Service in Anaheim) and chats up (or the socks off)
the customers. They're my biggest supporters....and I am theirs.

Speaking of my truck,
she is the coolest little thang. We've been together for sixteen
years now, and....well, she's the longest, most successful relationship
I've had....sigh. Anyway, here she is in the parking lot of Self-Help
Graphics in East L.A. (check out the Virgen in the back of the parking
lot)....

Chris. Finally, a new picture.... Chris is sixteen and a junior at ...umm, I think, University High in Irvine? Anyway, he really is this cute in real life, and too smart for his own good. He's a wicked good roller-blader, chess champ, and general all-around charmer. He also likes to argue almost as much as me, and we're pretty sure he's headed for law school eventually.... |

Chelsea. Yeah, this is
almost as cute as she is...especially those to-die-for dimples. Chelsea
is an excellent student and and last I heard, plans to follow her mom into
medical school...but who knows...she still has lots of time to choose since
she just graduated from elementary school (congrats, Chelsea!).

And last but certainly not least, Alexa Rae. I'm convinced Alexa will be an Olympic champion in either gymnastics or swimming....she's always hanging on/from/around something and she's taken like a fish to water ever since her first bath in mom's kitchen sink....this is her serious picture, when she came with me to do fieldwork on my public altars project....i figure it contrasts nicely with the silly pic of her on the other page. |
